Summer Free Concert Series

Every Wednesday at 7:00pm in June, July, and August, the Town of Milton sponsors a summer concert series at Milton Memorial Park. This live entertainment is fun for the whole family, and it's free! Just bring your lawn chairs or spread out some blankets and enjoy the music.  This program is made possible, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency dedicated to nurturing and supporting the arts in Delaware, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. Truckin Tuesday

Held the second and fourth Tuesday of June, July and August, plan to join us for Truckin Tuesday. Milton Movies in the Park

The Milton Public Library and the Milton Chamber of Commerce present Milton Movies in the Park.  The second and forth Thursday of June, July and August in the Summer of 2015.  Movies are shown in Milton Memorial Park and begin at 8:30 pm. 16th Annual Broadkill River Canoe and Kayak Race

The 10-mile Broadkill River Canoe and Kayak Race is one of the most respected competitive-paddling races on the Delmarva Peninsula. It pits almost 100 paddlers against one another as they vie for prizes and medals. More importantly, participants enjoy a day of healthy exercise and friendly sport along the scenic Broadkill River.

Bargains on the Broadkill

The  Annual Bargains on the Broadkill summer festival is an event for all ages. It features over 50 vendors of arts and crafts,jewelry, goodies and food. Also the Great Duck Race offers  many cash prizes to the top 25 winners.Top prize is the Chamber of Commerce award of $500, with many more prizes donated by Chamber members. Come out and support the Milton Chamber of Commerce and enjoy a fun filled day in the historic town of Milton.  Lots to do in Milton on the 4th Saturday of August. 10th Annual Best of Milton Auction and Party

10th Annual Best of Milton Auction and Party September 12 An extra special celebration is planned for the 10th Annual Best of Milton Auction and Party on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 5 to 8 pm at the Milton Fire Hall, 116 Front St. in Milton.   Cool elegance prevails in pale blue and shimmering silver as we celebrate this anniversary in style.  Expect a fun-filled evening featuring silent and live auctions, delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by Almost Home Cooking, an exceptional dessert including King’s Homemade Ice Cream.  A cash bar will offer a selection of wine, Dogfish Head beer, and soft drinks.  Live music by Vince Verrassi and Ken Cicarale and dancing will be a highlight. Area businesses, artists and individuals have donated an amazing variety of items and experiences.  There will be original art, crafts, antiques, books, excursions, gift certificates for restaurants and salon services, items and services for your home and garden, collectibles, and gift baskets. 2nd Annual Broadkill Banjos and Seafood

Great Music and Seafood can be found on Saturday, October 17 at Milton's Memorial Park.  Located at the corner of Union and Chandler Street in Milton.  The event starts at noon with great seafood available from noon to 4pm non-stop music until 8pm. Admission is free and food will be available to purchase on the ticket system.  Tickets are available at a cost of $2.00 per ticket.  Most food items cost between 1 and 4 tickets. Tables and chairs will be available in the eating area but you may want to bring a lawn chair if you plan to enjoy the music.

Christmas Parade

The annual Milton Christmas Parade takes place on the first Wednesday of December at 7:30 pm. Sponsored by the Milton Volunteer Fire Department it's a fun event for the whole town. What's more fun than marching bands, lots of bright red fire trucks from all over the area, towns businesses and residents all decked out for the holidays? Holly Festival

The Milton Chamber of Commerce sponsors this annual holiday event which includes many Milton organizations joining in to bring visitors a spectacular day in historic Milton! Always on the 2nd Saturday in December, The Holly Festival features  many fine hand craftes in the Fire Hall, Goshen Hall, Milton Theater and Milton Library. Santa will be in town for little ones. A holly wreath-making demonstration is offered at the Historical Society Museum. This is a highlight as it commemorates an important industry from Milton's past. The Public Library and many downtown merchants take part with special decor, gifts for sale and  holiday treats as well. At 2:30 following the Holly Festival, the Milton Century Club will present the very popular Holiday House Tour. This event offers an insight to many of the historic homes in town beautifully decorated for the holidays.
